Even in darkest times, happiness can be found

We are now in the midst of trial that changed our lives, the world stopped for a moment due to a COVID-19, everyone is scared because it's killing people on a large scale. For everyone's safety the WHO or World Health Organization advised us to stay at home for good because health is indeed wealth.

During lockdown, I've had plenty of time to myself and got the chance to along with my family and to bond with my cousins because I was busy before. Everyone is frustrated and anxious because of so called pandemic and the same time they can't do what they usually do. It is frustrating but I tried to look the positive way and I wanted to make life during this sad and anxious time meaningful. I managed to start things that interests me like cooking, I practice on how to cook and significantly improved a little bit my cooking skills and making food taste better. I love eating so I must learn to make food for myself. I have learnt that no matter how bad the situation is, I have to live with it.

As a student during pandemic is really tough to learn, nothing compares with going school and experiencing the full students life of interacting with friends and professor. Honestly, the most challenges is on how to cope up with this new normal, this is really far from what we used to be. As a student, my life has its ups and downs as you would imagine. I struggled to learn so I tried to look for a new hobby that can really help me to widen my knowledge and to learn. As they say, "if you wanted to be powerful educate yourself" knowledge is power, so, i read books a lot and spend my free time with it. Reading books makes us think better and improve decision making abilities. I am not passionate in reading but this is what I need. Lockdown helped me to see what's really my priority and it made me realized that we shouldn't take freedom for granted.

Everything can end tomorrow we don't know what tomorrow will bring us; it simply unpredictable. Lockdown has taught me to appreciate the smaller things you've done in life and how precious time is. Time is free to all but no one can buy time, so, as long as you have it focus on what is important to you. Remember that, we have been given a gift called life and we that should appreciate it.
